Our story begins as a small group of friends on the brink of a life-changing moment: becoming first-time fathers. We were excited but also overwhelmed by the immense responsibility ahead.

None of us had a foolproof plan or a blueprint to follow. We had seen examples of fatherhood—some great, some good, and some absent—but we were about to experience it firsthand.

As sons, we knew what kind of dads we didn’t want to be. But figuring out the dads we aspired to become? For us, that required tapping into wisdom beyond ourselves, and locking our eyes on the Heavenly Father.

We realized that while we might never get it perfect, we could prepare our minds and hearts as much as possible for the arrival of our little ones.
